Forgotten Films. Unforgettable Style

By Pragyasharma57 @pragyasharma57
It may so happen that I remind you of a movie 2-3 years old, and its highly probable you give me that "Was there ever a movie by that name?" expression. There are indeed majority of the movies that go unnoticed. After all, not every movie joins the 100-Cr club. Maybe, such movies are just forgotten but fashion never fades even though movie does. In fact, most of the time a movie becomes my favorite if there is a good element of style present among the thespians.
So, I thought of paying a tribute to these "not really forgotten movies" that'll remembered by every fashion connoisseur.
These are just the selected pictures. Most of the time,I was unable to find a particular outfit image from the movie on the Web. Apologies.!
1. Love Breakups Zindagi

The movie came and left unnoticed but with Dia in it, it scored high on the fashion charts. Be it her casual outfits or the wedding ones, she looked gorgeous always. And not just her Zayed and the other supporting characters were equally fashionable. More on her effortless style in my future post.

2. Break Ke Baad

Don't know if you have watched this, but it is one of my fav movies. Unfortunately it is on my list based on the reviewsAalia was wow; someone in 20s could perfectly relate to her and the "Awww sho sweet" chemistry between her and Gelato. Specially loved her blouse in the picture below. i know you'll agree :p

3. Pyaar Impossible

Who can forget "Alisha" and her not-easy-to-please attitude. Be it her college dresses or when years later as a career woman, she looked classy every time. Not to forget the Geeky glasses of hers and Uday in the title track.

4. Jhootha Hee Sahi

Okay! So this is one movie I am glued to television whenever it comes (it comes very rare) because of the leading character Aalia. She is just so sweet. I mean, her face itself is so pleasant that it can make your day. Also, the red haired girl. Too cool and Mansi Scott, Raghu and John's glasses made it all the more cheerful.

5. Mausam

What can we expect more out of a Sonam's movie? The above picture is just complete. No words.

6. Mujhse Fraandship Karoge

The perfect movie for a college-goers who love social networking! But I loved her cool tom boyish style and her bag. Eeeee...!!

7. New York

How many of you remember "Katrina shorts"- those checked half-pants in all hues that were almost everywhere. They were a boon to the sellers. Not to  forget the red hair streaks and the Bandanna style in "Mere Sang" song.

8. Kites

Barbara was a breath of fresh air in Bolly. It wan't just her fresh face, her smile and the way she carried those floral dresses in movie was equally charming.
9. Kambhakkt Ishq

It seemed to me a really funny movie. How can someone just drop a piece of bracelet in someone's stomach with music in it and the person is well and fine.? But seriously Kareena's dresses especially in the song "Lakh Lakh nakhre" were something different.

10. Tashan

The movie became a milestone for the Size Zero. Who can forget "Chhaliya"
