For Delicious and Value-For-Money Meals, Visit Peak-a-Flakes

Have you been to Wilcon City Center in Visayas Avenue? I mentioned before that the place underwent a renovation and honestly, the building looks way better. Wilcon City Center is now air-conditioned and there are more places to eat one of which is Peak-a-Flakes.

Peak-a-Flakes opened early last year but we only got to visit them last month. Judging by their logo which consists of a cone and a plate icon, you know that they offer meals and ice cream. And I was not wrong! They do offer rice toppings, mixed rice, ramen and a selection of milk tea and ice cream desserts.

Their menu is really simple and their prices affordable. The rice toppings range from PHP65 to PHP85. The mixed rice only coasts PHP79 while the ramen ranges from PHP115 to PHP150. Their desserts and milk teas are affordable, too! You'll only spend between PHP75 to PHP150.

But how is their food?

Well, their dishes are not pretentious. They are simple but flavourful. We got to try their Nuggetsilog, Misono, Yangchow Mixed Rice with fried siomai and sunny side up plus some extra siomai!

People on a budget especially students will definitely love eating here at Peak-a-Flakes. I just hope they make their place a bit brighter and livelier. Based on their social media posts - | , you'll think they will have the same aesthetic. Yes, there is nothing wrong with a simple setting but the ambience is part of the dining experience. 🙂

If you are in the area or if you are studying/working nearby, drop by Peak-a-Flakes for delicious and value-for-money meals!

Happy eating!
