Foodies Festival Is Coming To Newcastle

The sun is shining, there's warmth in the air and the beer gardens are becoming a destination for post-work drinks. So whilst we're thinking about dining alfresco and having a couple of drinks, let me tell you about the Foodies Festival.
Coming to Exhibition Park in Newcastle on 2nd, 3rd and 4th June, the Foodies Festival boasts some top name chefs cooking up a storm and a whole range of activities. I'll be making a beeline to watch GBBO winner Candice Brown baking cakes and desserts and see Omar Allibhoy, from Tapas Revolution cook some authentic Spanish tapas. 
Fancy a little treat? Have afternoon tea in the vintage tea tent, get top tips on how to be more healthy, grow you own vegetables or even try out one of the yoga classes. That's bound to get my sister interested in coming along, whilst I'm eyeing up the Pimms Teapot! For the full breakdown of what to expect day by day check out the Foodies website.
