The internationally renowned food festival Taste of Amsterdam is set to take Holland by storm for the third year in the row. For food fanatics, it is the ultimate opportunity to feast on gourmet alfresco and sample the best of the Dutch food market.
“You’re buying a ticket to foodie heaven. Stunning food prepared by the best and most famous chefs of Amsterdam and Holland, superb drink and outstanding entertainment set in the middle of this bustling summer city,” say the Taste of Amsterdam organisers.
Taking over the better part of Amsterdam’s Amstelpark, Taste kicks off on 22 September for a four day eat-a-thon. Guests will be treated to bites from Amsterdam’s top-billed restaurants including sushi paradise, MOMO, Jamie Olivier’s Fifteen and Blauw‘s irresistible Indonesian.
In between, taste buds are further tantalised with select wines at the Wine Theatre. Hosted by industry leaders, guests not only learn about the fabulous flavours of wines but how to pair them like a pro.
But that’s not all. This year marks the first ever Beer Theatre at Taste, where brew masters showcase the finest British, American and Dutch beers.
With cooking classes and programmes hosted by top chefs, Taste of Amsterdam offers a little bit of everything to the hungry traveller. And the atmosphere is all about inspiration. Guests are encouraged to prime their own chef skills with the finest produce and products form the Taste food market.
