Food News: Taco Bell is Coming to Glasgow!

By Emma @glasgowfoodie

You can ring my Taco Bell

The second post today with an exclamation mark, I'm getting all Donald Trump - maybe this is FAKE NEWS?

Anyway, things will be hotting up food-wise in Glasgow city centre with another giant from over the pond making their way here. We had Tim Hortons from Canada recently, next up it's Taco Bell.

Taco Bell can already be found in England but this will be their first venture into Scotland.

The well-known American chain will be offering Glasgow a wide range of Mexican-styled foods from tacos, burritos, quesadillas, nachos to more. These are filled with seasoned beef, spicy Mexican chicken, Grilled chicken, slow cooked pork with a mix of cheeses, shredded lettuce and tomatoes as well as the Taco Bell sauces and sides of guacamole, fiesta salsa, hearty beans and Mexican rice.

According to our sources, Taco Bell will be where Bradfords Bakery was on Sauchiehall Street. The site at 245 Sauchiehall Street has lain empty for a while and it is hoped that the new outlet will be open in the autumn.
