People who love to eat are always the best people. Its very easy to make the epicureans happy. Give them good food. Make them good food or just show them good food! Catching up for good food always brings in happiness, and trying world cuisines is delirious.
Travelling to new places and trying out the local cuisine makes the trip complete. But we have the luxury of eating the authentic local cuisines of several countries just by traveling few miles these days.
Turkuaz cafe, in the college city of bloomington is one such place which serves delicious Turkish cuisine. The ambiance is made to have a feel of turkey. One can choose to sit on the floor having comfortable pillows, cushion and the low table or the regular restaurant type tables.

There is also a shelf full of authentic Turkish items for sale right from their Turkish delight, to Turkish tea biscuits.

Turkish food has a lot of vegetarian options to choose from, which makes it a immediate hit for vegetarians like me.Turkish cuisine has borrowed many elements from middle eastern and central Asian cuisines. As north Indian cuisine has also had the middle eastern influence in them from the years of Mughal rule, I felt a lot of similarities between the both. It just felt like eating home made comfort food.
