Since I started blogging I’ve had the pleasure of meeting some amazing people. Food enthusiasts who have dedicated themselves to cooking, baking, reviewing, blogging about, and eating good food. By happenstance I stumbled upon an amazing individual who shares these qualities and many more. His name is  Chris Lindstrom and he is the the writer of the Rochester based food blog Food About Town.

About a week ago I was browsing through the Rochester City Newspaper and saw Chris’ restaurant review of a Rochester restaurant. I enjoyed his writing style and decided to visit his food blog. I was delighted to learn that not only was he a food blogger (that literally lives within a ten miles radius of my home) but also hosts a podcast. What are the odds? Within twenty minutes of reading his review I reached out to him on Facebook and made a connection. We set a date for me to be a special guest on podcast. I was thrilled. Not even three weeks prior I had launched Ask The Gluten Free Chef Podcast and already I had discovered a local podcaster and blogger. A small world indeed.

I’m a firm believer that everything in life happens for a reason. We always end up right where we need to be no matter how long and arduous our journey. I’m thrilled to share with you my very first radio podcast interview. I must admit that I was a bit nervous going into the studio. However Chris’ hospitality and easy going nature put me at ease. We interacted as if we had known each other for years. He was super enthusiastic to talk gluten free and allowed me to share my personal journey as well as discuss the facts, myths, and stories about living with celiac disease.
