Verdict on Follow the Dead

Follow the Dead is a horror comedy following a close Irish family trying to survive a zombie outbreak. They are shown to be slackers who are broken after personal events. However, they must put them aside to prove they want to carry on living in the apocalyptic world.

This is a fun zombie comedy, it creates a group of funny characters where Chi and Jay often steal the show. They have a funny partnership in the movie that excels in what could have been plain supporting figures. The personal drama feels a lot like Shaun of the Dead, with Robbie reflecting Shaun a lot. While the zombie side of events comes later in the movie, which helps with the social media spread angle the story is working so well with. If you want a laugh, this movie going to be one to check out.

Final Thoughts Follow the Dead is a funny zombie comedy with hints of Shaun of the Dead.
