World, I’m sorry this single was missed by us… along with like pretty much the rest of the Internet. Anyway, our favorite quasi-darkwave art rockers dropped the first single off of their much anticipated (in these parts at least) The False Alarms. “200 Words” harkens back to “No Wedding Cake” in that it is apocalyptically groovy but not due to intensity of sound (see their cover of “In the Flesh?”). And so far, the new addition of spooky lead singer Sinosa Loa works perfectly for them.
