The Aviodrome aviation museum collection has a definite preference for displaying aircraft of KLM, the flag airline of the Netherlands. NLM was a Dutch commuter airline that operated from 1966 to 1991 when it was folded into KLM. The design of the Fokker F27 started in the 1950’s as a replacement to the successful Douglas DC-3 airliner. First flown in 1955, ti was in production until 1987 and many are still in service today. The United States Army Golden Knights Parachute Team has used the military version, C-31A Troopship, for its skydiving demonstrations since 1985. Nikon D7100 w/18-200mm, processed with Aperture.
