We Need:
For the cake:
4 egg yolks
1 cup yogurt
1 1/2 cups flour
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/2 tsp soda
For the Garnish:
cherry jam4 egg whites
3 tablespoons sugar
walnuts
Method of preparation:
Beat the separated egg yolks with the sugar, flour,oil, yogurt and soda. Put them in a buttered baking dish and bake them in the oven until a nice golden brown crust.
Remove from the oven and brush with cherry jam. Beat the whites to "snow" with 3 tablespoons sugar. Spread the fluffy mixture carefully over the cake and sprinkle with chopped walnuts. Bake at very low oven until ready.
