A South Florida man is facing manslaughter charges after an accidental shooting death.
The Miami Herald reported Monday that Josue
Sanchez was arrested after he mishandled his gun and fatally shot
19-year-old Lazaro Martinez in a Hialeah parking lot Friday night.
Hialeah police say the 20-year-old Sanchez,
Martinez and another person were smoking marijuana in a parking lot and
were taking photos with the gun. Sanchez pulled the trigger, striking
Martinez, who died Saturday.
Police say Sanchez was charged with manslaughter
because he displayed a reckless disregard for safety while under the
influence.
