(Miami) A 28 year old Floridian was arrested for pointing his pistol at a man who asked him to wear a mask in a store in Palm Beach, police said Thursday.

While shopping at Walmart, Vincent Scavetta was not happy when another customer asked him to put on a protective mask against the coronavirus. He refused, a verbal altercation ensued and Scavetta drew his pistol and pointed it at his interlocutor.
He was arrested for aggravated assault with a lethal weapon and improper display of a weapon, according to the Palm Beach Sheriff's Office, which posted the matter on Twitter.
“Welcome to Palm Beach County Jail, son.” May this serve as a lesson to you. It could have ended badly, ”the sheriff's office tweeted.
Walmart, the largest American distribution group, has been asking all of its customers to wear a mask since 20.
But many Americans are reluctant, and President Donald Trump refused for months to encourage the wearing of masks, in the name of the individual freedom of citizens.
However, Mr. Trump has recently changed his position. He first appeared with a mask on 11 July and said on Monday that wearing the mask was “patriotic”, posting a photo of him masked on his Twitter account.
