Delta Flight 1980 Information:

It was nice to be back onboard one of my favorite planes to fly on, the 757. Over the summer, I flew on one 757-300 from ATL to Las Vegas, and originally was scheduled to return from Salt Lake City on another 757-300. We ended up getting bumped off our flight in exchange for around $600 to use for any Delta flight, plus, we got to explore SLC and return the next day. You can read about that trip in the Flight Reports section. On the 757-300 we were originally scheduled to fly on, I was seated in 33F, the same as on this 757-200 flight. The view was the exact same between the two planes.

We had a nice, short flight from ATL to MCO. The only reason larger planes like the 757s or 767s are used on this route is due to the high passenger density. It was nice to not be flying another time on the older, more common MD88. In the photos below, you can see our route at flight in addition to some window views:
On our descent into the Orlando area, the Captain came on the PA and asked for the flight attendants and any passengers that were up to get seated early, for what they called an "early descent." According to them, they were descending to avoid some large storm cells in the area, to weave in and out of them. Check out this video below to see some of the amazing flying through turbulent clouds we did:

When one flies into Orlando's International Airport, you get the sense that Disney helped in the construction of the site. There are ponds, fountains, palm trees, and mono-rail trains covering the airport. Here are some photos, so that you understand what I'm talking about:
Thanks for reading and watching, stay tuned for more flight reports. The next one will be our 757-200 Economy Comfort Class return from Orlando. -Swayne Martin Twitter: @MartinsAviation
