We need bathrooms to relieve ourselves, clean ourselves and to relax ourselves (and in mothers’ cases, to get a few moments to ourselves, perhaps!), but they do not have to be dull and boring. Here is how to add that oh-so-important aesthetic note to your bathroom décor.

Rather than try to hide your small shower, invest in a good-looking shower curtain and paint the interior of the shower in a bright, light shade to open it out and make it appear more spacious.

For a decadent touch of luxury, invest in some heated towel racks to ensure that hopping out of a lovely warm bathroom does not mean becoming chilled as you towel off!
