Five Events to Celebrate Burns Night in Glasgow

January can be dreich but cheer up by celebrating the birthday of Scottish poet Robert Burns.

There's loads happening in the city this 25th January for Rabbie's birthday, and we've picked a few which sound like a good night.

1. Whisky masterclass and dinner a table Glasgow Malmaison

A chance to learn about the range of Douglas Laing whiskies, including the aptly named 'Timorous Beastie'. A three-course dinner is also served. Tickets are £35 per person.

2. Burns Night at Wellpark Brewery

A tour around Glasgow's famous Wellpark Brewery, the home of Tennents Lager and then a wee dram with haggis, neeps and tatties. Tickets are £19 per person.

3. Reggae Burns Supper at The Rum Shack

Reggae and Burns combine at Southside favourite The Rum shack. A three course sit-down dinner with a free dram of whisky from Springbank Distillers included. Tickets are £25 per person plus booking fee.

4. The Anchor Line

The Anchor Line have 4 courses, 4 whiskies and and a gift this Burns Night. Tickets are £49 per person.

5. The Corinthian Club

Friday 27th January is the date for The Corinthian Club Burns Night. A traditional burns supper and celidh with a welcoming dram. More info here. Tickets are £26.95 per person.
