A junior lawyer practicing at the Colombo Chief Magistrate’s Court was admitted to the hospital after he was allegedly assaulted by two senior lawyers over a chair at the lawyers’ rest room of the Colombo Chief Magistrate’s Court.
Keselwatta Police said that the junior lawyer who was sitting on a seat in the lawyers’ room
had asked the two senior lawyers whether they have any problem. This has caused a dispute between them, which has resulted in fisticuffs. However, both parties have lodged complaints against each other at the Keselwatte police.
