Holy Shit!2021.What can you say about the rocky road that was 2021?Here's a couple of things that you can probably say...1.)There were portions of it that sucked.2.)I'm reading this, so clearly I survived and that is a good thing.3.)The heavy metal underground not only survived it fucking thrived.

Ladies and gentlemen (and I use the terms loosely) it is my absolute pleasure to share with you volume one of Fistful of DOOM's Highlights of 2021 list.I am very scientific in my methodology.Each release was given a rating of one to five stars.Spoiler alert.There's not an album included that got less than a three star rating.Below you will find 15 of the 50 albums that made the list.They are in no particular order.Volume two will be posted at a later date.Massive thanks to the bands for continuing to share with us the fruits of their blood, sweat and tears.
