Everyone who plays Fisch knows that Summer is the key to getting the prized Brick Rod, a rare fishing tool with special benefits.
Time is very important, though. Here’s how the seasons work, when Summer comes, and what you need to do to get ready for your Brick Rod quest.

When Does Summer Start in Fisch?
Beginning at 7:30 p.m. UTC on February 15, the next summer season will begin. The seasons change in the following sequence every 9.6 hours (576 minutes):
- Spring → 2. Summer → 3. Autumn → 4. Winter → Repeat .
This fixed cycle means you’ll see Summer twice everyday. For example:
- GMT: 4:48 AM & 7:12 PM
- ET: 11:48 PM & 2:12 PM
- PT: 8:48 PM & 11:12 AM.
Why You Can’t Skip Seasons
Unlike weather or time (which players adjust with Totems), seasons are server–wide and unchangeable. This provides fairness but needs planning. If Summer isn’t open, you’ll need to:
- Wait for the cycle (check timers below).
- Switch servers to find one in Summer.
How to Track Fisch Seasons
- In-Game Tracker: Check the bottom-right area for the current season and time.

Brick Rod Requirements (Summer-Only)
During the summer, do the following things to unlock the Brick Rod:
Prepare in Advance
- Collect 3 Bricks:
- Roslit Bay, Ancient Isle, and The Depths.
- Set Spawn Point: Change it to Desolate Deep.
- Gather Codes:
- Word Code: Under a tree in Mushgrove Swamp.
- Number Code: Beneath Brine Pool’s bridge.
Wait for Summer Foggy Nights
- Time: Night + Foggy weather.
- Location: Head to Harvester’s Spike and find the Minish NPC.
Equip the Correct Title
Titles that change hourly according to UTC time include True Hakari and Poseidon’s Blessing. For example:
- 8 PM UTC: Extinct (hit by a meteor).
- 3 AM UTC: Chosen by Zeus (struck by lightning).
Activate the Brick Rod
- Chat Command: Type “the brick rod is real. bestowed upon those with [word code].[number code]” .
- Final Purchase: Trade a Pufferfish and pay C$13,337 to claim the rod.
Pro Tips for Fisch
- Track Playtime: You need 22+ hours logged to qualify.
- Avoid Glitches: Rejoin the server if codes or bricks don’t load.
- Watch for Updates: Seasonal timers may shift slightly due to daylight savings
