Finger Licking Good Toile by Flavor Paper!

By Therelishedroost
This is one of those just for fun posts today. I am heading into New York tomorrow and needed to re-stock my Iphone full of good music for the ride, so while searching for tunes I realized I have a couple from the Beastie Boys...yes, I said the Beastie Boys! This band was at their prime when I was in college, and the late Adam Yauch was quite a talent and philanthropist.  I decided to google the band and see what they are up to now, and to my surprise one of them has entered the world of design! Michael Diamond in collaboration with Flavor Paper has helped to create a "Brooklyn" Toile. Who would have thought one day toile would come out of Michael Diamonds mouth. I love Flavor Paper and its ability to give people a creative site to come up with some amazing wall coverings.  There are a few really fun New York themed toiles from Flavor that I wanted to share with you. I think they say"enjoy and have fun for life is too short!"

Created by Mike Diamond and Vincent Ficarra of Revolver New York.

Wythe toile created for the Wythe Hotel by Dan Funderburgh.

Depicts life in the Williamsburgh section of Brooklyn.

China Town toile also created by Dan Funderburgh especially for the 2008 european Cup in collaboration with Adidas  and depicts life in China Town.
