Yesterday, I had the chance to explore the brand new Pier 1 Imports in Framingham and, let me tell you, it's something to see! The new location, which opened on August 15th, is the 22nd Pier 1 Imports location in Massachusetts and it's quite a bit larger than previous locations! It's a bright and cheery space, decorated to the nines with everything a design-obsessed girl could want to personalize her home.

I tend to think of Pier 1 as being a home accessories store, perfect for kitchenware and throw pillows so I was surprised by the amount of furniture in stock! One of the managers, Bruce told me that due to its size they're able to keep more pieces of larger furniture in stock than at previous locations. I was sorely tempted by the soft grey Carmen love seat to replace my living room's sad sofa bed with matching ottoman!

I knew I needed to be practical, I was on the hunt for the lamps and a side table, so the sofa would have to wait for another day!  It was hard not to get into the Halloween mood as I headed toward the back of the store. After all, Pier 1 Imports has everything a hostess could need for a spooktacular party like paper straws, decorations for any style, and a ton of inspiration.

Eventually, I focused. A gold tray for my coffee table, a side table with mother of pearl inlay that tucks over an armrest, a heavy glass lamp for my mom, and a super soft gold and white throw pillow for my bed. Luckily, Bruce was there to help me load my many bags into the car! Seriously, the team here couldn't do enough to help me, and they didn't even know that I was a blogger until I was leaving! Design suggestions, stock checks, heavy lifting- they are extremely customer service oriented. It can be rare to find these days!
The gold tray is also perfect for espresso set my mom bought in Amsterdam in the 60s that I may have recently...borrowed...and I love stacking my books right next to me on the little table. Isn't it all lovely?
