Filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt: I’ve Said Goodbye To Direction

Eminent Filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt, whose association with Bollywood has been for three decades said goodbye to direction.

“I have said goodbye to direction. I am encouraging new talents. I am 64 years old now and at this age, encouraging upcoming talents is very satisfying,” Bhatt told IANS.

The 64 year old filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt has delivered iconic films like “Saaransh”, “Arth”, “Dil Hai Ki Manta Nahi” and “Zakhm”. He wants to promote fresh and young talent in the industry.

Through his production banner Vishesh Films, Bhatt has given a platform to many directors, actors and creative people like director Mohit Suri, director Vishal Mahadkar of ‘Blood Money’, actor Emraan Hashmi, Indo – Canadian adult star Sunny Leone, who will make her Bollywood debut with his “Jism 2,” Esha Gupta, Miss India International 2007 winner is the leading lady of his upcoming film “Jannat 2”.
