Field Day London Announces More Acts for 2014!

SBTRKT returns to Victoria Park and is joined on an already stellar line-up by Simian Mobile Disco and Todd Terje.

Attendees of the 2012 edition of the festival will remember SBTRKT’s highly atmospheric live show built from his eponymous debut album, and will be expecting a similarly high energy set with new material this time round. Both Simian Mobile Disco and Todd Terje will also have new material to debut this year and have been recently added to the line-up.

Three b2b performances have also been added to the roster as Erol Alkan joins Daniel Avery, Jackmaster and Oneman present Can U Dance (b2b) and Slack joins Onename. Breakthrough artist SophieGhostpoet, and (one half of TNGHT) Lunice have also been added to the day’s weekend’s proceedings.

Field Day London 2014 Line-Up

The weekend’s events are now really taking shape; Metronomy and Pixies will be headlining Saturday and Sunday respectively, whilst there will also be major appearances from Danny Brown, The Temper Trap and Warpaint.

Saturday sees East India Youth, Jon Hopkins and Sky Ferreira play as part of a hugely diverse set of electronic acts in the east London setting.

Whilst the a large portion of the Sunday is yet to be announced, there is clearly a greater focus on guitar music and indie with grunge heroes Pixies taking the headline slot. They will be supported by the highly tipped Drenge, goth rockers The Horrors and Temples (whose new album has been reviewed by us here).

All in all it’s shaping up to be another fantastic year for Field Day at Victoria Park.
