Felt Valentine Wall Decor

By Vixenmade @vixenMade
It's time for fun Valentine's Day projects, am I right?
Let's just dive right in.
My daughter loves any holiday.. any reason to decorate or craft with a 'holiday' in mind is right up her alley and mine!  So what better project to start with than some cutie-pie Valentine decor for her room.

Such an easy project, too!
I've always loved the felt wall art.. everything from bats at Halloween to butterflies for a little girl.  Either way, I've been wanting to try it.  And I love the result!
Not only is it cute and whimsical, but it literally will take you 5 minutes to create.

First off, get together some white, pink and red felt.

Print off a template for your hearts, I just googled to find a heart image, but here's one.  Simply save the image, then resize the image for 3 different sized hearts.

After cutting out your paper templates, pin each one to the felt and cut out your shapes.  Do different colors of each shape and as many or as little as you like.

Once you have as much as you'd like, start decorating your wall!

To adhere them to the wall (temporarily), I just used glue dots and stuck a couple along the middle of each heart.

If you don't have any, double sided tape or sticky tack works too.

Kinda fun, huh?

And she loved them!  Win!

Have fun!  And have a great week!
