From Kate Watts, former singer and guitarist for the band The Blue Ruins, comes the new band KIT. Classified as alternative soul and pop, KIT brings blues to a whole new level. Watts is sultry and original, with a passionate personality that shines through in her music.
Originally from New South Wales, Watts has traveled extensively to perform and build her vocal repertoire. She has been compared to Adele and Aretha Franklin, two true testaments to the power behind her heart-wrenching voice.
Building on her experience in The Blue Ruins and throughout her travels, KIT is beyond ready to release her debut single, “Goodbye.” The track is the first look into KIT’s new record, produced by artist Harts and producer Matt O’Connor. “Goodbye” is set to be released June 12.
