Fear of Men’s “America” will make listeners swoon with its smooth and misty vocal harmonies, flowing instrumental work and an entrancingly cyclic hook. Vocalist Jessica Weiss comes armed with charming yet haunting vocals that easily transport listeners to the beachy, unruffled mindset we’re all still grasping for during these cold February days. Although musical warmth can be fleeting in the winter, “America” makes for the type of track that can be easily played on loop without growing old. It’s soft, it’s warm and it’s gorgeous in depth. Formed in Brighton, Fear of Men is a charming trio that started tackling the music world back in 2011. You can hear more on their Bandcamp.
