Possibly the first monthly favourites post that I have ever done, but I was loving so many new products this month that I thought a round up style post like this would be the best way of sharing it all with you. From working to holidaying, July was jam packed with never a dull moment and although I'm now really tired and need to sleep it all off, it was a really great month. I'm excited for the rest of the holidays, but scared about the looming results day, and not looking forward to starting all that holiday homework that I probably should have got on top of a long time ago, whoops! Anyways, enough with the update, lets get on with the beauty items that I have been loving this month.
One of the worst things about summer has to be hay fever, and being a sufferer, around this time of year my eyes tend to swell up to the size of golf balls. My Elemis Tired Eyes has been a complete saviour, a cooling gel that helps to minimise swelling and get rid of itchiness, it has worked nothing short of miracles for me. My Bath and Body Works body spray has also been another favorite of mine. A fresh, floral and sweet scent, this is the perfect light scent for summer when you don't want to wear too much, but still want to smell nice.
In terms of makeup, I have been loving my Collection Lip Butter stick in Vintage Rose, a bold and bright pink with brown undertones which is perfect for an everyday summer look. The balmy consistency holds in place for a really long time, fading to an even stain, and it is really moisturising too. My nails have been sporting Rimmel Salon Pro nail polish in Hip Hop for nearly the whole month, I did a whole post on it here if you are interested, and my Makeup Revolution blush in All I Think About is You has barely left my cheeks at all. A pretty peachy hot-pink with shimmer shot through, this doubles as a blush and highlighter, and is perfect for creating that summery dewy skin look.
