Carolina Herrera Resort 2016
Modern and Fresh, the resort collection by Carolina Herrera is a dream and on trend. Florals and Feathers were the dominant motifs in this collection. Clean cuts, Minimalist proportions and a bold color palette were the key highlights of this collection from Herrera. My favorite looks from the collection are the cocktail gowns, tailored printed culottes and the jacquard skirt suits.
Michael Kors Resort 2016
Kors went for geometric lines and bolder colors in this Resort line after an unassuming fall collection. Tailored cuts, Yin-Yang infusion and Checks in all sizes were the highlights of this collection. My favorite pieces from the collection are the vibrant fuchsia coat, the wrap dress with high slit and the tailored trousers.
Tory Burch Resort 2016
Tory Burch's Cruise collection was heavily inspired by Native American weaves and the American Southwest. This is one of my personal favorites of all of her collection's so far. The clothes were rich in texture and the key highlights were the watercolor print on dresses achieved via weaves, desert flowers and sunsets and the laid-back appeal of the collection. My favorite pieces are the slouchy pants, the silk skirts and raffia trim knits.
