Faux Wood Tutorial
By Jcchris
Hey there everyone!! It's that time again for me to show you a very simple tip on creating "faux wood" using Donna Salazar products.
First, you will need the label paper.
Next, all you have to do is to drag the Mix'd Media Inx from the top to the bottom. Hold it at an angle and drag to create the "faux wood" look.
Then, scrunch the paper.
I pleated the paper and sew it to secure the pleats.
To give the doily a lil color, I used the Smooch Spritz. Just to tone tone down the white.
Here's my layout...
For this layout, it is fairly simple to put it all together. Just layer the papers, do distressing by using Donna's fab machine called "Distrezz-It-All", position the papers and you are pretty much done.
Here's the close-up of the flower and "build you own bling". I have to tell you that I am very impressed with the blings because it is so easy to play around with it. It's not sticky and it is super easy to reposition them if you change your mind.
More close-up shots:
This cutie is Leena''s son, Ethan. He is such a cute-goofy-very entertaining lil guy. Love chatting with this lad! Totally adore this pic of us so got to scrap it. Hope to meet up with him soon :)
It has been a while I last created a shabby chic looking layout. So please be kind ya. Lol.
Hope you enjoyed today's post & thank you for coming by!
