Fashion Friday: March Must Haves

By Raymondleejewelers @raymondleejwlrs

Yesterday we welcomed March with a cocktail and the celebration of a very springtime sport, and today we’ve compiled some of our favorite trends for March. With hints of runway, retro silhouettes, and pretty pastels (and brights!) is looks like this month is shaping up to be a very fashionable start to the new season.

Fashion Friday: March Must Haves by raymondleejewelers featuring rayon dresses
Mint: One of the standout gowns on this year’s Oscars red carpet – for better or worse – was nominee Berenice Bejo’s mint green Elie Saab. We liked the pale shade of blue-green on Berenice, but we love it on Tibi’s newest ready to wear collection. Bonus – it matches perfectly with beautiful aquamarine gemstones, perfect for March’s birthstone. The Peplum: Another look we loved on the Oscars’ Best Dressed ladies like Tina Fey and Michelle Williams, this throwback silhouette is gorgeously flattering. We like Stella McCartney’s high end strapless version and Alice + Olivia’s affordable, adorable cap-sleeved take.Neon: Last summer’s neon trend is alive and well, and being reinterpreted. We’re seeing it paired with neutrals like beige and pale pastel neon counterparts. However if you’re going to commit to one statement piece, this Lanvin neon grosgrain bag is the way to go. It’s structured, classic shape is the perfect foil to its playful neon yellow color.Statement Necklaces: We’ve seen a lot of tribal influenced statement necklaces, especially on the costume jewelry front. We like this more sophisticated version of the statement necklace; still sporting tribal influence, albeit a tropical island vibe with its coral beads & turquoise, diamonds and sapphires set in 18kt gold.Floral Blouses: More of an annual Spring staple than a trend, we love airy chiffon and silk blouses in hothouse floral prints and liberty prints alike. Especially when paired with…The Printed Pant: They’re not for the faint of heart, but this seasons’ myriad interpretations of print pants ensure that anyone can try this look. Tone-on-tone beige leopard print jeans work count just as much as these showstopping DKNY’s do.What trends are you most looking forward to wearing this March and this Spring?Liz for Raymond Lee Jewelers, your source for fashion trends,  diamond jewelry, luxury estate jewelry, and designer jewelry.
