Fans Not Happy About Choosing Ben Affleck as the New Batman

Warner Bros has officially announced that they have chosen Ben Affleck to play Batman in the upcoming Man of Steel sequel, where Superman will take a brutal beating by the caveman himself. Fans, including myself were anxiously waiting to hear who'll play the Batman role in this film, but this announcement wasn't good news at all.
Everyone's furious about Zack Snyder's casting choice and this also brought an immediate Twitter meltdown as well. While fan's disagree with Mr. Snyder's choice, he and  Warner Bros. team seems to think he's perfect for the job.
"We knew we needed an extraordinary actor to take on one of DC Comics' most enduringly popular super heroes, and Ben Affleck certainly fits that bill and then some," Warner Bros President Greg Silverman
This is what Zack Snyder said -
"(Affleck) has the acting chops to create a layered portrayal of a man who is older and wiser than Clark Kent and bears the scars of a seasoned crime fighter, but retain the charm that the world sees in billionaire Bruce Wayne, I can't wait to work with him."
Believe it or not some folks have already started a petition at Change.org to force Warner Bros. to change their decision. Well, I don't think this is such a bad decision. Sure, Affleck screwed things up in Daredevil but I think he deserves another chance. And, I don't know about you but I can definitely see him as an awesome/older Batman. Either way it seems like my opinion won't matter because the whole world has a different opinion.
Here are some hilarious tweets I spotted on Twitter.
