Another week here in New York City means another week of live music that will blow your mind.  Though James Blake, Yacht, and Twin Shadow are in town, it’s Brooklyn-by-way-of Rhode Island band Fang Island that snagged our #1 concert of the week spot.  Why you ask?  These dudes are outrageous performers who know how to have a good time. They’re also playing one of my favorite venues, Glasslands Gallery.  It’s a small place filled with strange taxidermy, mythological creatures and a backdrop of puffy clouds.  Do yourself a favor and get tickets to this show.  It is going to be amazing.

As always, check our suggestions below.
