It's not always easy to look great, while actually staying warm. This year I am making a valiant effort to marry style and warmth. So far I've scored amazing deals on a Soïa & Koy down coat, and fire engine red Sorel Tivoli boots. Last year I learned {the hard way} the uggly truth about Uggs; that they are indeed not meant to be worn in snow, but rather are meant for "fashion" {that is a direct quote from the Nordstrom salesgirl}.
The bottom line is that having wet and cold feet is absolutely miserable. At the ripe old age of 28, I've finally learned the importance of boots, especially ones that are made of waterproof material and that are insulated.
