We were inside a compound deep in the jungle and, as my teammates chatted with our hosts, I explored the surroundings with my camera and found her below a stilted building silently peeling a basket of sweet potatoes for dinner. Operated by catholic nuns, the compound was a rescue center for women in conflict and other difficult situations.
