Third-party facturers working with Facebook said that a new viral video by the house's spokeswoman, Nancy Pelosi, has been modified to make her language appear blurry, giving the appearance of poisoning. FactCheck.org, a program of the Annenberg Public Policy Center at the University of Pennsylvania, said the video was slowed down in places and stitched together from various moments of the San Francisco Democrat's appearance at a press conference on May 20.
The video has been viewed by more than 2.5 million teams and is now called "partially wrong".

Facebook did not immediately respond to a request for a comment. It is not the first time that a modified Pelosi video has appeared on the social media platform. Another video As of May 2019, a similar technique has been used to slow down parts of Congressmen's speech to make it appear drunk.
February 2020 a video was circulating again by Pelosi, this time as though tearing up a copy of a speech by U.S. President Donald Trump after honoring a Tuskegee flier and members of the U.S. military. In fact, Pelosi tore open a copy of Trump's speech on the state of the Union after contacting lawmakers this month.
