After featuring a post on the Psychedelic and Gaudi silk scarf collections at Fabryan, I was offered the opportunity to feature some of the photographs from the Fabryan Catwalk Show at Berlin Fashion Week last month, which beautifully showcased their new Autumn/Winter '13 collection. I couldn't think of a better time to feature this post at the heart of London Fashion Week. Profoundly, to give recognition and praise to the work by Samantha-Jayne at Fabryan, and as a growing London fashion brand. I opted to feature the black & white backstage photographs to reveal what goes on behind the scene before the show and the video of the Fabryan Catwalk Show at the Lavera showfloor. As a prominent, high quality London fashion brand that focuses on simplicity and elegance combined with strong ethical values, it was great to read on the Fabryan blog that the models were made up with natural make up, which complimented the Fabryan sustainable collection perfectly. The catwalk video clip features the fresh & sophisticated sleek combed back hair, smokey eyes and plumped up pouts, all complimented by a very tailored monochrome aesthetic in the collection. The collection embraces a combination of chic & sophisticated tailoring with a variety of textures including silk, lace, fur, and the occassional pop of color. I would love to be part of the whole planning process, and would love to attend a Catwalk show this year, and of course get myself to the next London Fashion Week.
