Brooklyn based Ex Cops teams up with Ariel Pink on this jangly alt-pop number, “Tragically Alright”. This is very different from the duo’s previous work – less shoegaze (thank god) and more Beach Boys – to the point where it’s hard to believe it’s the same band as on previous single “Black Soap”. But this definitely works.
Ex Cops second album is titled Daggers and is out October 28 via Downtown Records.
