Every Little Bit Helps!

Hey there readers!

I hope my East Coaster's have been fairing well with all of the snow and ice. I love where I live but some of these wintry days definitely make me long for warmer places.  We were in Vermont this past weekend, with a temperature of -27.  There is just nothing sexy (or even mildly appealing) about -27.

It occurred to me that, come this May, I will have been following a vegan diet for 8 years. It fascinates me that, while I have so many more options than I used to, many people are still closed-minded about this way of eating.  I understand people are hesitant to give up foods they love, but a plant-based diet seems to still be surrounded in mystery.

Enter Beyonce. Nothing like a little celeb power to bring things to the mainstream.  In the link below you'll see that Beyonce launched a 22 day home delivery vegan meal service. Beyonce tried this plan of her own and, while she didn't stick to it, seems committed to getting more people to check it out.  I have to say, while I cook for myself and dine out a lot, I may just give it a whirl!  Will you?
