Everton midfielder Tom Davies has revealed that he won't play once more this season.

The 23-year-old has not performed since November after struggling a succession of accidents this season.

He underwent hamstring surgical procedure final month and was omitted from the Toffees' up to date 25-man squad checklist within the Premier League.

A fan on Instagram requested Davies: 'When may you be again on the pitch. Lacking you a lot Tommy.'

Davies replied: 'Subsequent season.'

The midfielder sustained a knee damage in opposition to Tottenham Hotspur on November 7.

He then suffered a thigh downside in December whereas working his means again to full health.

The most recent setback is a giant blow for Davies, who's eager to impress new Everton boss Frank Lampard.

He advised SoccerBibble: 'It has been certainly one of my most unlucky years on the pitch, and never my greatest as a result of accidents, however I've learnt a lot from it: easy methods to cope with myself, how I believe in tough conditions, watching the staff.

'It is like I have been taken out of the kitchen and I am watching everybody else prepare dinner. You may see what issues are going effectively and what issues possibly whenever you're again you'd prefer to attempt to enhance.

'And the supervisor that is are available in now has been nice with me. He spoke with me and made me really feel a part of it.

'For me, he was somebody I watched once I was rising up and beloved watching him. So when you have got that one to 1 second with him it's kind of surreal.
