It certainly felt like a classy British tea party, with Pims and Gin and Tonic served in dainty floral teacups and some amazing food. Even the mini macarons had a gold glimmer.
I've admired Vivienne Westwood for years, first being introduced when I spotted someone wear those orb earrings and I knew I needed to find out where they'd bought them! Then in sixth form, I saw two students with the Pirate boots and around that time the Ultragirl flats were getting pretty popular. Probably because they weren't that expensive and they really do last such a long time. Again, I find myself wanting to buy another pair of the Ultragirl flats. Do I need them? No, I've already got this pair. Do I want them? Oh yes I do! Possible graduation present?
I had such a great time at the event, it's always great to meet people and add more items to that ongoing wishlist of 'things I'll buy someday'. I left Vivienne Westwood feeling really motivated to keep working on my blog and keep pushing to make it better and better. I've really been trying to put more work into it lately, even though I am at that stage of university where I have 1001 things to be doing for deadlines in the next three weeks. I'm going to be putting up a giveaway sometime this week so keep an eye out for that, it's a thank you to everyone who's been following Hello Freckles and continues to read my content.
Are you a fan of Vivienne Westwood? Which pieces would you like in your wardrobe?
