So Nespresso: Glasgow

Nespresso held an event at their Nespresso Boutique in Glasgow to celebrate all things Glaswegian and to celebrate a Glasgow edition of the So Nespresso Magazine.

We joined to listen to a panel discussion on Glasgow and hospitality. The panel consisted of James and Louise Rusk, founders, RUSK & RUSK, Liam Hughes, co-founder, Glasgow Distillery Co., Peter McKenna, chef and co-owner, The Gannet, Marcelo Zanetti, Nespresso: UK & ROI Coffee Expertise Manager. A wide group of experience there.

During the evening we also learned about how Nespresso works with more than 75,000 farmers in 12 countries as part of its AAA Sustainable Quality Program.

This programme is reflected in the artwork by local Glasgow artist Gaz Mac. This piece highlights how the programme improves the livelihoods of farmers. The farmers daughter in the image can now afford to go to college to study and reflects on the work of her family.

This collaboration with The Rainforest Alliance, not only aims to improve the livelihoods of farmers but ensures a sustainable supply of coffee for the future.

👏 to everyone who has taken part in the So Nespresso: Glasgow edition.
