In this podcast, I examine the proposition that the political conflicts in America today could erupt into civil war soon. Not a Union vs. Confederacy battle of conventional armies, driven by regional governments and populations, but a lasting, nationwide outbreak of violent chaos.
I line up the arguments on the side of "NO" and "YES", and come to what I think is a logical conclusion--which of course may have nothing to do with how national emotions will play out over time.
Net-net: Pay attention to the election returns this November 8. Pop corn, if you got it, but also have your bug out bag handy if you live in or near a big city. Things could get sporty.
