One of our favorite destinations throughout our travels in South America was none other than Chile. This country is home to a wide array of beautiful scenery, incredible people, and, perhaps most important item of all, delicious food.
So when our friends at LAN Airlines contacted us to help promote their newest contest, Chile a la Carte, we knew we were in. One lucky person (hopefully a reader here at Living the Dream) is going to win the trip of a lifetime to this awesome South American destination.
Why Chile?
When it comes down to it, Chile is one of those destinations that has something for everyone. In the extreme south is Patagonia, with gorgeous nature full of glaciers, penguin colonies, and more. For those who like drier environments, the Atacama desert in the extreme north is the driest place on earth and also one of the most beautiful with geysers, stargazing opportunities, and landscape you'd expect to find on other planets.

We're especially excited about the Chile a la Carte contest because the itinerary is focused on all things culinary travel. The Prize
