This is my first time reading the poet.

The poems in this short little collection are beautifully written. They use powerful, evocative language and are almost hypnotic at times. I loved the poem Signs. I found something about it riveting and haunting at the same time. I got chills. I really liked Dead Bayou as well with it use of repetition and unusual spacing.
