English Garden Bridal Inspiration Shoot!

By Claire

All photos are by Dotmoxee Photographers.

Our English garden shoot is inspired by natural autumnal woodland and a modern vintage style. We aimed to inspire English brides, to show that they can still look elegant in the colder months and that even a woodland or garden can be perfect as a setting.”

Wedding dress supplied by the amazing Fable and Promise Wedding company from their stunning new collection at http://www.fableandpromise.co.uk

Amy of Dolly Millinery was able to show off her beautiful bridal range for which she took inspiration from the 1950s period. The collection includes a stunning feather headband perfect for autumn and winter weddings. http://www.dollymillinery.co.uk

Abi went for a natural smokey eye look, blush pink cheeks and nude lips. For the hair she created a soft whimsical look with a twisted double side plait with the rest falling naturally. http://www.abimakeup.com

We wanted to keep the look simple, typically English with not too much sparkle as this was all about nature and the outdoors.

Flowers — Helen’s Flowers. In keeping with the season, Helen opted for large sunflowers, berries and lots of green. The stalks were kept lengthy — a great idea if you want your bouquet to not look perfect, as though it was taken fresh from the garden. The flowers were then wrapped in twine for a country garden feel.

Photography — Dotmoxee Photographers are a fresh, upcoming photography service based in Ramsbottom, Lancashire. Emilie and John-Paul found that their eclectic tastes and love for documentary combined, produced a magical story of images perfect for wedding photography.”
