Luxie originally posted this reset engagement diamond in antique replica on the Show Me the Bling forum at PriceScope. This is a gorgeous and sentimental piece! What a fantastic way to use her original engagement diamond! If you reset your ering diamond, what style would you go for?
The details on this are fabulous. This ring packs a serious sparkle punch! This stone sat in her jewelry box untouched for over two decades and then was returned to it's place on her finger in newfound glory! This antique replica was created at Barsky Diamonds in Philadelphia, at the attention to detail is phenomenal!
The Stats:Luxie says: "The stone is a .78ct round brilliant. 29 years ago the stone came with no paperwork so I have no idea on the specs. I do know it has some warmth and it does appear to be about a J in color and it has always been a real sparkler. I decided to bring this very sentimental stone out of the jewelry box and back to life so that I can wear it by having it reset into an antique replica Art Deco filigree setting with bezeled Halo, set in 18 karat white gold with fine millgrain detail."
