“Exposure to the various subjects was essential to my business development. After working in HR for the past 17 years, I’ve never had a business before. Finance and strategy have contributed to my development.”

Lisa first learned of the degree apprenticeship during an event for networking.

When the instructor mentioned the financial aid available to SMEs, Lisa jumped at the opportunity since it was something she’s always had a desire to pursue. Every Friday, Lisa took on two different subjects every semester in her university classes.

Lisa stated: “It’s important to ensure your employer is on board with the time commitment and allows you the opportunity to use your new skills in the workplace.”
