An MBA Senior Leader apprenticeship is the perfect fit to join CUBE HR. The company, based in Burnley, offers a complete human resources service to companies and has experienced the benefits that a degree apprenticeship can provide.
CUBE HR was just two years old when founder Lisa Sourbutts began her apprenticeship, and since then, it has grown by two times.
Lisa states: “As my career has developed, I’ve needed various skills, and when I was told that I could complete the degree apprenticeship and incorporate MBA, I was intrigued. MBA from here, in Burnley, I immediately applied for the position.
“Exposure to the various subjects was essential to my business development. After working in HR for the past 17 years, I’ve never had a business before. Finance and strategy have contributed to my development.”
Lisa first learned of the degree apprenticeship during an event for networking.
When the instructor mentioned the financial aid available to SMEs, Lisa jumped at the opportunity since it was something she’s always had a desire to pursue. Every Friday, Lisa took on two different subjects every semester in her university classes.
