A break during the 2010 Wings Over Pittsburgh Airshow allowed commercial traffic to land at Pittsburgh International Airport. The Embraer Regional Jet (ERJ) family is a series of twin-engine regional jets produced by the Brazilian aerospace company Embraer. The ERJ-135 is 11.6 ft shorter and has 95% parts commonality with the ERJ-145. The first ERJ-135 entered service in 1999. Midwest Connect (1994-2010) operated six ERJ-135s in their small fleet prior to their absorption into Frontier Airlines.
