‘Elseworlds’ Promos Have Arrived

The newest promos are out for the mid-season endings of our favorite Arrowverse shows.

This year,s crossover of Supergirl, Arrow and The Flash look like they will be taking fans on a wild ride. Yep, The Legends of Tomorrow missed out on this one. Looks like they won’t be the ones to step up and save the day. Wonder who will? So do we.

In the first promo released, we see Oliver Queen wake up in bed only to walk out and find Iris West-Allen instead of Felicity Smoak. Or do we? The promo featuring Stephen Amell and Candice Patton, actually has Iris kissing who we know to believe is Oliver, much to his confusion. Only for her to tell him, “I love you Barry Allen.” Say what? Is this a Freaky Friday crossover? Appears so by the next promo.

The second promo gives us Grant Gustin and David Ramsey in a fight scene that is reminiscent of Season 2 of Arrow but held in the ARGUS bunker. John Diggle knocks out who we believe to be Barry Allen. Only as Barry is able to stop the next blow (Say what now? Have you seen David Ramsey’s arms?), he realizes he is The Green Arrow.

Third, they introduced us to a whole different Alex Danvers (Chyler Leigh) who is in The Flash containment area with Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) locked within one of the containment cells. Supergirl pleads with her sister trying to get her to remember that they are exactly that, sisters, despite how things may look.

Finally, and what most fans have been looking forward to, they gave us a Batwoman promo. Ruby Rose, dressed as Batwoman, jumps down from a building in what looks to be Gotham City, complete with a Bat-signal. The Green Arrow (Grant Gustin) and Vibe (I think, but could be wrong) are there to greet her, with the catchphrase coming from Gustin’s character, “That’s not Batman.”

What do you think will be happening during the crossover and how will it all fit in with the current storylines of the shows? Are you ready for this year’s crossover to be the mid-season finale? Let us know in the comments below. And be sure to look for your favorite shows to return in the spring. Supergirl will be returning on Sunday, January 20th. Arrow will return from break on Monday, January 21st. And The Flash will come back sooner with a start date of Tuesday, January 15th. DC’s Legends of Tomorrow will not return until April of 2019 with Black Lightning taking its place until their season run is over.
