Elderflower Kettle Sour – Bridge Brewing Company

From Bridge Brewing Company in North Vancouver comes their newest in their limited releases Ironworkers Series #3 "Elderflower Kettle Sour". The beer pours an orange colour with an off white head. The aroma consists of fruit, elderflowers, herbal and sweetness. The flavour is of elderflowers, citrus, nectarine, herbal hops, earth and mild sour notes. The alcohol content comes in at 4.9% with an IBU of 18. This is an understated session sour with nice big flavour without being overly sour.

Commercial Description: Our Ironworkers Series celebrates the spirit of teamwork, craftsmanship, and hard work. Grat craft beer, like bridges, have the ability to bring people together and join communities. When our brewing team at Bridge Brewing created this Ironworkers Series they crafted a beer that does just that. Tart and refreshing, this beer was inspired by the Brewmaster's Mother with fresh aromas of spring garden. Elderflowers give a gentle floral brightness to this crisp kettle-soured ale. Lightly hopped with Galaxy and Centennial hops ot provide a background of nectarine and citrus.
